The ExSybase group in Linkedin (and in yahoo) was started because
of the fact that there is a career after Sybase. This could and should be
reflected in a group like this.

You'd like to keep in touch with other employees, you are looking for
a former colleague, you want to share your Sybase experiences or you
want to tell about your career afterwards; this group might be a/the
proper way. I encourage all of you to write about your experiences to
share your ideas and like this, to learn about opportunities. Also if the
group could be of any help or assistance in some way to ExSybase
employees, do not hesitate and post your doubts, maybe someone already
treated your issue.

Avoid negative writings on this group, members are strongly asked not
to start off negative writings in whatever way! Do not address yourself
in a harsh or negative way about companies, products and not about
members or other people. In case you do have something annoying or bad
news to share with other members, describe these issues in a smooth and
correct way (so others will not be offended).
Lets be positive, there is already enough bad news in the morning papers!
